Discover

  • Step #0: Proposal Review and Discovery

    This step is designed to orient you to our process solution, while building a shared idea of future accounting processes and structure.

Design

  • Step #1: Launch Meeting

    Our first goal is to familiarize ourselves the current state of your accounting system, while investigating your transaction history. We discuss and determine a working framework for improved accounting practices, develop goals and determine key performance indicators (KPI).

  • Step #2: Build Accounting System

    Now, we are ready to design and document improved accounting practices. We review and refine your chart of accounts and determine a set of rules for posting transactions. We will prepare check lists, procedures and reporting formats.

  • Step #3: Activation Presentation

    Culminating our design stage, we present our detailed plan to improve and support your accounting functions. We determine our meeting rhythm, procedures and performance management system.

Administer

  • Step #4: Transaction Management

    Moving ideas to action, we now administer and support financial and managerial accounting activities. Completeness and accuracy are assured through regular audits. We reconcile accounts and prepare month end reports. An action journal is developed and managed, building a system of transparency and accountability.

Analyze

  • Step #5: Month End Close Out Meeting

    Here we prepare and present monthly financial statements. Issues and concerns are communicated and out of conformance transactions rectified, as needed. We make recommendations, based on data analysis and experience. We review and refine the action journal, and install a rhythm of review, preview and make decisions (RPM).

Advise

  • Step #6: Calibration Meeting

    This is a quarterly meeting designed to discuss organizational performance against goals and KPI’s. In detail, we discuss accounting system performance and organizational outcomes. Together, we determine what’s working and what needs to be improved.
